Greg Gibson

Teaches: Voice, Piano and Musical Theatre Performance Training

Greg teaches voice, piano and Musical Theatre Performance Training at the Collingwood School of Music. For students drawn to the stage, his musical theatre lessons bring attention to both the music and the story behind it, helping a song become a performance.

Greg Gibson is a pianist, music director, conductor, vocal coach, and music educator with nearly 30 years of professional experience. A graduate of Queen's University with a Bachelor of Music, Greg has worked with the Shaw Festival and regional theatres across Canada and the U.S., as well as spending 15 years at sea with Holland America Line and Norwegian Cruise Line. His musical theatre credits include Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots, and Beetlejuice: The Musical.

His career has taken him to all seven continents and more than 65 countries, giving him a wonderfully diverse range of professional and life experiences to bring into his teaching.

Now based in Collingwood, Greg shares that experience through private piano and voice lessons, musical theatre coaching, and youth programming. In 2026, he created and taught Lights Up! with Greg Gibson at Resonance Collingwood, beginning with a successful spring program and expanding into a summer musical theatre camp for young performers.
