Music Makers and Creators is our all-day alternative education program for students who are ready to learn by doing. We bring music learning and creative exploration into a day where curiosity has plenty of room to make itself heard.

A day of making and discovering

  • Build musical skills through instrument training, music theory, rhythm activities and vocal training.
  • Make space for movement and time outdoors as part of the day's activities.
  • Bring the learning together in band time, listening to one another and making music as a group.

Learning that connects

Rhythm gives fractions something you can clap. Songs connect words with expression, and instruments bring the science of sound to life. Alongside musical skills, students practise working together, solving problems and sharing ideas. The program offers a creative option for families seeking music as part of their alternative education or homeschool experience.
